Our Involvement
Christian Service has always been a top priority at Pilgrim Church. We contribute to charities locally, in the United States and in many parts of the world:
- We collect food and money for the Lighthouse of Oakland County every Thanksgiving to be distributed to needy families
- We collect winter clothing at Christmas time for the Salvation Army in Royal Oak, MI
- We donate our Christmas Eve worship collection to Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac, MI
- During Lent, we collect money for " Water for Life ", which is used to dig wells and provide clean water for people in Africa and other impoverished areas of the world
- We have sponsored Marco & Julio, two boys involved at a mission, living in Argentina, for the past 10 years. Our donations help these two young men who are brothers with their schooling and living situation.
It is always a spiritual blessing to participate in Christian Service at Pilgrim Church.
